THE MICHAEL COTTINGHAM METEORITE COLLECTION **** Special Note**** Over 10k more has been added to The Collection and The overall price has been reduced by another-20k, making this one of the best deals around. I am Finally Motivated To Sell! I know you have been watching for the last year, well now is the time to make your real best offer!
Complete Collection Price: $355,000.00
Once Again, I have decided to offer my entire Meteorite Collection for sale. This is an amazing opportunity for the right person. As it stands, I am very proud of this collection. There are many types of meteorites represented, with many fine specimens.
What is in this collection? As of this ad posting there are 100+ items that are in this collection (Although, that number may vary by the end of this auction, with more items added or some individual pieces being sold) and that is what you are bidding on. A rough estimate of the individual value, is an approximate- $600,000.00 dollars in retail value. So that the sale of this entire collection is a deal for the buyer, there is a substantial savings built into this auction.
I included a few case and shelf shots so that you can get an idea of the immense amount of specimens you will be getting. Case number #1 measures, (Approximate) 6 feet by 6 feet, Case #2 is 4 feet by 6 feet. Both are packed full of fine, fine specimens!
CASES ARE NOT INCLUDED> BANK WIRE or Cashiers Check, all pieces shipped FEDEX, Insured, 3 day Service.
Since individual pieces in this collection are also up for sale-individually, the total amount in the final collection may very some. If there has been a substantial sale of individual pieces during the offering of the entire collection, I will adjust the sale price to still reflect a good discount. However, I will be adding more material to this collection as well. This collection is in a sense a living collection, with pieces coming and going. The end result is always what I am after, and that is a fine meteorite collection. ***SPECIAL NOTE*** I am also willing to work with a potential buyer by taking out specimens that may not be wanted-with an end result of a lower price to the buyer.
Thanks and Best Wishes Michael J. Cottingham |
